Required Materials:

• Quilting cotton border print with four repeats across with of fabric - 1 yard
  
  • Or for design flexibility and fussy cutting - 2 yards
  • Or one 11" withe strip 3-1/8 yards
  • 60 degree triangle ruler

• Typical border print fabrics have four to eight repeats of 5"-11" wide sets of stripes and elements running the length of fabric.  Designs may use all four stripes, portions of 2-3 stripes, or one long strip.  Marrower strips will require less fabric and make a smaller runner.  Longer variations require more fabric.
