Happy July, everyone!
I hope everyone is happy that summer has finally arrived. We're finally get more sunshine than rain. I have air conditioning at work and home to keep me cool. This Husky fur gets hot sometimes in the summer, I need my ac.
Mom says I'm spoiled. I deserved to be spoiled. I'm a good boy, Mom says so.
I'm running late as you can see. Mom was in NJ all last week, getting recertified as a Elna/Janome tech.
She took the laptop, I couldn't get the newsletter out from home. I was not happy about having to take 2 different weeks off from work because she went to training. Grandma didn't even offer to stop and pick me up for work. I had to stay home the entire first week of June (Mom's other Elna/Janome recertification) and last week.
When Mom got back, I made sure I was at the door, waiting to go to work. I didn't want her to leave me stuck at home for another day.
All is well now. Mom's not going for anymore training until August and I'm not going to miss out going to work.
Anyway, back to business.
First, we will be closed Thursday, July 3rd-Saturday, July 5th. We will see you back in the Shop on
Monday, July 7th.
We have some new fabrics in the Shop.

Marcus reproduction and Fall fabrics turkeys, hockey & snowman fabrics
A cute woodsy panel. It would make a great baby quilt 3 beautiful Christmas and winter fabrircs

We will be bringing in some new Janome sewing machines into the shop this month. I will be sending out an email when we get them in.
We are on track to becoming an offical Janome & Elna sewing machine dealership. We use Janome and Elna sewing machines ourselves, both at the shop and home. It only makes sense we that we should sell the machines that we love and use.
We are currently an official Elna dealer. Elna sewing machines are made by Janome and have brought a lot of features to Janome which can be found on both brands of sewing machines.
We are looking forward to adding Janome officially to our line up of sewing machines.
Mom is a factory trained Janome/Elna sewing machine technician.
Other important news:
Mom is servicing sewing machines for the Athens School District. She will be dividing her time between the school sewing machines and customers sewing machines. It will be taking her a little longer to get customer sewing machines done. We know everyone wants to get their besties serviced before Quilting Season. She will be able to get them done, just not quite as quickly at the moment.
Don't forget, Mom also sharpens scissors. Even pinking shears.
Have a wonderful and safe July 4th and we will see you in the Shop.
PS. Our ac is working great if you would like to come in to get cooled off and check out our new fabrics and products.
Keeping You in Stitches,
Obi the Wonder Dog.
