We would like to remind everyone of our Holiday Hours.

We will be open 10-Noon on Christimas Eve.

We will be closed Christmas Day through January 1st.

Starting January 2, 2025, we will be raising our Sewing Machine Basic Service to $70.95.

Our Basic Service includes removing debris, old grease and oil build up.  Greasing, oiling, cleaning, adjusting top and bobbin tensions, testing stitches and other minor adjustments.

Our Hourly Rate for repairs, timing and other more involved overhaul needs will remain at $28.00 per hour.

Non Refundable Deposits for service and repairs will increase to $20.00.  Your deposit will go towards your charges to service/repair your sewing machine.

Enough of the regrettable bad news.  Onto the good news.

We now offer scissor sharpening services on most scissors.

$5.00 for regular sewing scissors up to 8"

$2.00 for embroidery and other small scissors

$8.00 for pinking shears & scissors over 8"

Please note: cheap scissors may not be able to be sharpened or not sharpened the full length of the blade due to the blades not opening far enough or separated.

Most scissors will be able to be sharpened while you wait.

Exceptions are pinking shears and large amount of scissors brought into the Shop.

There is one special priced light left.

We have plenty of gift certificates and notions for your favorite fellow quilting friends.

We also will be starting up weekend classes again. I will sent the list and dates in a separate newsletter later today. This way, you print out the list to hang on your fridge or in your quilt room.

I don't have photos of the projects for them yet but will send out reminder emails with photos when I have them. I think I have 1 photo I can add to the list.

My sisters and I are hoping Santa brings us lots of toys and treats for Christma. Tamiya and I have been good dogs. I can't say the same for the 2 younger pups.

We hope you will stop in for a visit before Christmas but we do know you're busy getting ready.
