July Newsletter
Happy Summer, folks!
I lost track of June. I'm not sure where it went to but it's officially gone!
Gosh! I have been snoozing a lot lately. It's too hot for this old dog to do much. I have all this fur and it's good at insulating me from the heat but, I'm no longer fond of Summertime. I perfer my dog bed, sofa or Mom's bed.
We have some techinically difficulties with the camera this week.
I can tell you we have some new Christmas, Fall, animals, & a couple of nice collections from Moda, QT Fabrics and more.
Saturday, July 6th is our Free Pattern & Demo Day at 10am with coffee & light refreshments. Grandma's words. All this pup can this of when she says this is the British Comedy "Keeping Up Appearances" with Mrs. Bucket. I like that show.
Don't forget, we are now carrying over 800 different DMC colors of embroidery floss, counted cross stitch cloth, embroidery & counted cross stitch kits and patterns.
The Sayre Historical Society is having an Antique Quilt Show on display at the Passenger Train Station during the month of July & August. The hours for the musuem is Wednesdays 4:30-6:30pm & Saturdays 10am-2pm. They have some really cool old quilts on lone to them. I heard Grandma talking with a man loaning some family quilts, he said one was made in the late 1800's.
It's definitely worth checking out! Admission is free but donations are greatly appreciated. Don't forget to sign thier Guest Book when you stop in, it helps the musuem get grants.
