April Newletter

Hoppy Easter, everyone!

I'm running a little behind this week.  I've been busy nursing Mom.  She has been suffering from severe neck spasms for over a week.  She finally went to the doctor to get some muscle relaxers and pain meds.
Man, is she loopy.  Fortunately, she's on the mend but still can't drive.  Grandma, friends and relatives have been chauffeuring her around to doctor appointments and work.  It's actually kinda funny, Mom being on muscle relaxers.  She has a hard time concentrating and talking. She's coming down off her meds now but still loopy.

Ok, enough picking on Mom.  She feeds me and lets me in and out doors.

Elizabeth has left us. She has moved to New England and taken a job up there.  We wish her luck on her new adventure. We are very proud of her.  This is just one of many adventures she will have, I'm sure.

We have some new fabrics in and more coming in.  The manufacturers shipping dates are more like an estimate rather than a time. So, if you see a collection in a quilting magazine you are interested in, don't be discouraged if it's not in the shops.  It will get here, eventually.

Our Free Pattern and Demo for April will be Friday the 16th and Saturday the 17th at 10am  You still need to sign up for them, as we are limiting the number of people in each class.

For those of you who don't join us for our Saturday Fabric Reveal Party  on Facebook, here is a look at some of the new fabrics that have come in.

Here are some farm and dinosaur prints by QT Fabrics, Clouds & Batiks by Hoffman Fabric and Sunflowers by Print Concepts.

I think I've covered everything for this month.  I've got to get back to Mom before she forgets where she is and gets lost in the Shop. Yes, she is that whacked out on muscle relaxers.  She will probably ask you 30 times how much fabric you want cut.  Once the meds get out of her system, she will be back to her old self.

Have a safe and wonderful Easter Sunday.

Keeping you in Stitches,
