Update on services and update on Guthrie face masks

Hello everyone!

First, Pennsylvania denied our bid to reopen. They said we were not essential to sustaining life.
I thought, tell that to the husbands and children at home 24/7 with quilters.

Therefore, we're running in a dark grey area but we are still going to continue letting people buy online and choose curbside pick up.

WE CANNOT, HOWEVER, ALLOW ANYONE INSIDE THE STORE.
WE ARE FOR ALL TENSE AND PURPOSES, PHYSICALLY CLOSED TO THE PUBLIC.

We understand your frustration at not being able to come into the Shop to pick your fabrics.
We have chosen the best course of action to help our customers at this time.
Hopefully, this virus "curve" will flatten out soon and we can reopen.

Second, I have an email from Tricia Place to share on a revamp of her face mask pattern.
We also would like to remind folks, if you have a question on Trish's face masks, please email her with your questions, suggestions, etc.

Nancy Beeman in her infinite wisdom pointed out to me that we shouldn't put pins in the middle of the mask. Well that seems pretty obvious now that she pointed it out to me!  :-)  If you've already done that on some it's ok.  Remember these are going over top of another mask.  But please refrain from putting pins in any future ones.
Another question I'm seeing is binding the sides.  You're welcome to bind the sides, but I don't think it's necessary.  I back stitched across the pleats, but I will leave that up to you.
I want to send a huge thank you to the 35+ people who picked up fabric today. What an incredible outpouring of love.
Please let me know if you have any questions about the pattern.  I'm not a pattern designer by any means, but I think it was relatively clear.
Again, most of the fabric is double layered and can be separated to make even more masks.
Thanks again.  If you missed me today, I may coordinate another pick up. Please let me know if you are still interested.
In terms of dropping the masks off, let's plan sometime next week.  I'd like your name, address, and number of masks you are dropping off on a piece of paper.  Also indicate if there are more to come (will likely need another drop off).
Thanks,
Trish

Stay safe and, I know we keep saying it, thank you for your continued support during this crisis.
