Hello friends!
Most of the kids are back to school. I know because I can hear the school bus going up our road.
Where did the Summer go? It sure didn't seem like we had much of a Summer. Mom is already talking about taking the a/c units out of the windows.
We have a lot going on in September!
First,this Friday & Saturday (August 30-31) we are having a huge sale! 25% Off most regular priced items & an extra 15% Off Clearance Fabrics. (exceptions sewing machines, furniture, handcrafted items & clearance books) Minimum 1 Yard Cut on Fabrics or Finish the Bolt if under 1 yard.
We have lots of new Fall & Christmas fabrics. We've gotten a few modern fabrics in, a couple of cool bag patterns, new kids, baby, modern, wild turkey & Patriot fabrics in.

Saturday, September 7th: Free Pattern & Demo Day 10a-11a A great class for beginners and
experienced quilters.
Get a free pattern & learn how to make the block and often bonus
tips/ techniques. Door Prize & light refreshments.
Saturday, September 14th: Basic Sewing Machine Maintenance Class 10:30a-12:30p $25.00
Learn how to maintain your best friend in between professional
cleanings. Sewing machine needles, adjusting top & bottom tensions & trouble shooting tips for common problems also covered.
See naked sewing machines & the difference in a couple of popular
sewing machines.
Students are encouraged to bring their sewing machines
Advanced sign up by Wednesday, September 12th is required.
Saturday, September 21st: NATIONAL JELLY ROLL DAY!
Join us for free demos throughout the day, hot dogs, chips, water & jelly roll
themed desserts. Open sewing from 10a-2:50p. Sale on, you guessed it, Jelly Rolls
and Jelly Roll patterns & books.

Saturday & Sunday, September 28-29th: Sew Purty Workshop's Vintage Sewing Machine Restoration
Ray & Sherri Elkins are returning to teach their workshop.
Ray is a great and fun teacher. We always have fun and learn
a lot about restoring your vintage sewing machine.
Even if your vintage sewing machine isn't working, you will have it
working before you leave this weekend.
Ray & Sherri's love of restoring vintage sewing machines
is contagious!
