January Newsletter

Happy New Year, friends!
I’m hanging our with my big sister, Pooh Bear. I’m using Mom’s iPad to do the Newsletter. It’s my first time trying to use it to write a newsletter.

oSanta brought us new toys! We were good puppies this year. My other dog sister is laying in front of the fire.

It’s really cold this week at my house. We even got some snow. I helped Mom plow the parking lot today to get ready to reopen on Tuesday.
It’s been nice relaxing and reenergizing but I think I'm ready to go back to work.

Now onto what’s happening in the Shop.

We will not be having our Free Demo and Pattern day in January. Grandma doesn’t have enough time to get it ready this week.
She and Mom were busy getting inventory done just before Christmas. I’m not sure what it is but they spend a lot of time counting everything in the Shop. It’s really kinda boring to watch them.

In January we have some new collections coming in. Northcott’s Canvas 2nd shipment will be coming in. We also have some new Moda coming in the 1st week of 2018. Mom says she forgot what’s coming in. She thinks it might be a Kansas Trouble or Primtive Gatherings collection. She’s not sure. Her brain is on vacation. Don’t tell her I said that.

We also have our 2018 reusable totes at the Shop and ready.
For our new friends, we give the first 50 customers who spend $100 on one transaction a colored reusable shopping tote. When you bring in your tote, you get 10% off regular priced fabrics.  The tote discount is for the 2018 calendar year. We change the tote color every year. But you have to bring in your tote to get your discount.
2018 discount totes are pink.
Orange totes were for 2017 and have expired.

Grandma doesn’t have the January class schedule for me to share with you.

Mom says she will do a Sewing Machine Maintenance Class on Saturday, January 13th. It will run 10:30-12:00. It is $10 for the class.
She will teach you how to maintain your newer or vintage sewing machine. She encourages you to bring in your sewing machine for hands on instruction to maintain your sewing machine. We do require a 3 day advance sign up as space is limited.

My paws are getting tired and it’s time to tell Mom that my sisters and I are ready for our dinner.

Have a Safe and Happy New Year.
We will see you next year.

Keeping you in Stitches,
Obi, Moda, Maryanne & Mary Lou
