Our Downton Abbey is here (finally!). Its very lovely and we invite you to stop in and take a look. We have 10 designs and the castle logo is still to arrive.
More of the fabric for the block of the month also arrived. The block of the month will start in mid-April. The block looks complicated at first -- its a Carpenter's Star -- with a different center block for each of the nine blocks.

According from "Quilting in America 2010" the average quilter has been quilting for 16 years, start over 17 projects each year, and spend almost 50 hours per month on their craft."
This study goes on to say that "14% of households include at least 1.3 quilters (how did they figure that?) and dedicated quilters will buy 157.5 million yards of fabric a year (see everyone has a nice stash).
